Hawaiʻi ʻōʻō (Limited Edition Print)

from $290.00

The Hawaiʻi ʻōʻō, scientifically known as Moho nobilis, was a species of bird endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. This bird was known for its striking black and yellow plumage, as well as its unique curved bill. Unfortunately, the Hawaiʻi ʻōʻō is now extinct, with the last confirmed sightings in the late 1800’s. The extinction of this species serves as a poignant reminder of the impact of human activities on fragile ecosystems and the importance of conservation efforts to protect endangered species.

This original painting was created with acrylic paint on 100% Cotton Rag Illustration board.

Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitor calibrations.

All prints are personally signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Note that it will be sent unframed (the room images here are examples only).
